Measuring circumference is best done with a Dressmakers tape... here comparing P226 OEM 2 Piece polymer Grips and OEM Sig Branded G-10 Grips...

Something I should have mentioned earlier, but Hogue also has their newest grip style for the Contour Classic Grips that have a rounder profile than the earlier squarer side profile, these are what I prefer, as they seem to fit my hand better than the older version G-10 Hogue grips.
