Proud new owner of a P365x (ms) and I'm curious as to what optic you all are running. Prefer direct mount. Thanks!

Edit: Forgot to add a pic of my current Sig collection (does 3 now count as a collection?)

Anything with the RMSc footprint will direct mount on the P365. I had a Swampfox Sentinel and how have a Holosun 407k green on my P365XL and both have been issue-free.

- The Sig Romeo X Compact is a direct fit, is designed to have a low enough deck height that you can use your stock sights, and is assembled in the U.S.

- The coming new Shield Sights AMSc is an enclosed emitter optic and all Shield Sights are made in the U.K.

- Shield Sights RMSc glass edition- made in the U.K.

- Shield Sights SMSc glass optional- made in the U.K.

- Vortex Defender CCW

- Bushnell RXC 200 Compact

There are others but they're either discontinued like the Springfield Hex Wasp, obscure brands, or C12345e OEM Manufacturers.

Put the Romeo X Compact on my P365 380 recently. Direct fit, easy install, easy to zero, good co-witness, and I'm totally happy with it. I can still pocket carry in most pants, but have IWB and OWB holsters for those occasions. The side access battery is a great feature that really like, as I have to change the battery on the Shield RMSc on my Hellcat every so often where I have to remove the optic and re-zero although it's also been a good optic and one of only three that would fit when I bought that pistol. If you're looking for an optic for the P365, the Romeo X Compact should be considered. Just my opinion.

Holosun are growing on me. I can ‘find’ the 32moa circle faster than a dot.

I have the EPS Carry MRS green. I have trained with the dot, circle-dot, and circle. My accuracy is noticeably best when using circle only - no dot. I also find I can get my shots off quicker using the circle only.

I'm always torn on optics for my P365x (or any 3.1"). If I'm carrying for cqb (<7 yards), am I really gonna have time enough to present with a basic red dot? But IF, I did, I'd assume a 32moa circle dot would be my choice. Before the haters, come out, I've trained... and trained. And I feel faster with old iron sites still for that close. There are some great options out there. For the main use case, I'm not sure you an go wrong with any shake-awake version.

sonmexkid- The Romeo X gives you the choice of single dot or a 32 moa with a single dot in the middle. as well as shake awake. I was also an irons only guy for over 50 years before getting my first RDS. You are correct about 7 yard and shorter distance shooting, as at that close range, you don't need sights at all to get decent center mass hits. I found that at 10 yards and further out, the dot is quicker with better accuracy than irons for me. If you see one on a P365, give it a look. Just my opinion.

For carry - no dot, no light, no laser. Just more stuff to get in the way of your draw. Learn how to point shoot, you have 2 seconds to get a shot off and hit center mass. Good luck finding a range that will let you practice this method though. You'll probably need to join a gun club like I did.

Well, I'm not new to the carry game, I was just new to the pistol. I ended up going with a Holosun 507k.

There are a few ranges near me that don't allow draw or more than 1 shot per second. But there are some that do and I have a buddy who has steel set up on his land as well.

I've had the Romeo X Compact for a couple months now and like it.
Side loading battery is better than a bottom tray that makes your RDS sit up higher.
Having the built in rear sight is nice too, as my XL side is the older one where you lose the rear sight when the plate comes off.
I know, I shoulda got a black one instead of that weird Bronze looking FDE.
