P365 suppressor advice?

What are your tips for suppressing the P365?
1. I note that True Precision is not offering the P365 threaded barrel with the LCI notch. Were there problems with it?
2. the one video I found of a guy firing a suppressed 365 displayed FTFs and failure to go into battery. What is your experience?
Looking forward to your feedback.

You have to keep in mind the 365 was designed as a carry weapon. That being said, I put one of the smallest cans on the market on mine and it essentially turned it into a single shot pistol. I used a jk 105 ccx 9 with a threaded faxon barrel. The jk 105 is a direct thread(no piston) 9mm can. I’ve been meaning to try some different springs, but other projects have moved it lower on the priority list. Hopefully, someone here has been able to get one to work well and will comment.

I have no trouble using a can with my P365 hosts. My results are with a couple of P365XL/MACRO 3.7" slides using 4.35" threaded barrels; one is from True Precision, the other I fitted from Bar-Sto. The 9 mm can I use on both is the SIG Sauer MODX-9 in its full-length configuration and the standard "high rate" piston spring. I typically use Federal 147 gr subsonic rounds (Syntech for training and HST for EDC), but others have given similar results. It is important to clean the piston and piston housing every few hundred rounds to ensure smooth operation. I do not have any P365 barrels with an LCI (whether threaded or not) and would not want one, especially with a can. Suppressors run fairly dirty on a 9 mm host and an LCI notch would only make it worse on the RDS that I always run on these pistols.

If you find trouble running this can on a 3.1" P365 slide, you can (no pun intended there) a) try the "low rate" piston spring, and/or b) reduce the number of baffles used. The same advice goes or any such modular suppressor.

Good luck!

My P365XL and X-Macro are mainly used for EDC; I don’t believe the model is intended for suppressed. If so, not really interested. If I play spies, my preferred one is the Beretta 80X Cheetah Tactical in .380 super suppressed 🤙🏻

I do use a Sig MODX-9 for my 9MM threaded barrels 😎
