In another post I’ll state “why” I wanted to remove the Magazine Catch on my P365, I can say this was a BIG pain in the ***** for me. Maybe my hands are too large or I’m just not coordinated.
I’m going to attach a few photos that after removing the catch it all makes sense to me. I watched a couple of YouTube videos and read my manual over at least three times and past the basic “Use a paper clip” they didn’t really show me well what I was try to do.
On the last photo you can see on the magazine catch “stop” (that’s what Sig calls it), there is a tiny piece that you have to push in with the paper clip before you can lift the stop out.
When I was attempting this the stop kept falling below the hole where you insert the paper clip. I think what finally did it for me, I depressed the magazine catch just enough to get the paper clip in then while pushing slightly with the paper clip, I pushed the magazine catch or release and the stop came right out.
These are tiny parts and very easy to lose so keep a close eye on everything.
