There are a numbers of threads about this issue but I thought to start a new one to see what others have experienced on sight replacement.
I have a weak/dead front sight. (My gun was born in October 2018). Instead of returning to Sig, I decided just to replace with a Night Fison orange one. Well easier said than done!!! I tried removing with a nylon punch. No movement. I used my sight pusher (generic) and it would not budge the sight. Soaked it Liquid Wrench for a couple of days and still no movement.
Going to call a couple of local shops to see if they have had any issues replacing and if they want to tackle the job. If not, maybe I will need to send back to Sig. But I am not happy with the XRay sights. The Sig Lites I have on my 2 year old P938 are still bright in the morning after spending the night in a dark closet.
What other owners have experienced the same issue?
Thanks!!
