I got from here, as other were talking on it as well and of course AI said it to.

AI Overview

In 2024, Sig Sauer updated the recoil spring assembly in the standard P365 (3.1-inch barrel) from 19 pounds to a 20-pound spring
. This change does not apply to the longer-barreled P365 XL or X-Macro models.
Here's what you need to know about the factory recoil spring change and what it means for your P365:
  • Original spring: The initial production P365s came with a 19 lb. recoil spring assembly.
  • Updated spring: Sig Sauer upgraded the standard P365 to a slightly heavier 20 lb. spring to improve reliability and potentially reduce felt recoil.
  • Compatibility: The newer 20 lb. spring is backward-compatible with all P365 models that have a 3.1-inch barrel.
  • No "P365.2" version: While the spring was updated, Sig Sauer did not formally designate this as a "P365.2" version. It was a running production change that was gradually implemented.
  • Factory replacement parts: If you order a new standard P365 recoil spring assembly from Sig Sauer, it will be the newer 20 lb. version.
  • Aftermarket springs: Some aftermarket companies, like M*CARBO, offer "extra power" springs that are even heavier than the new factory spring.
How to get the updated spring
If you have an earlier P365 and want the newer spring, you can order a factory replacement recoil spring assembly directly from Sig Sauer or a retailer. Many P365 owners have upgraded their older pistols this way to achieve more reliable and consistent cycling.
