Anyway, today i called sig, because i wanted to check to see if it was a factory refurb like the sales person told me. And when i read the serial number to the gentleman at sig he had no record of that serial number. He than proceeded to tell me that their records only go back to 2005?..... I than drove all the way back to cabelas to double check the number, and their was no mistake that was the serial number. I was really just curious as well to see what year my sig was made. The serial number starts out with the two letters "UU." Anyway, im not worried about this at all because the pistol is in amazing shape for being used. Any inputs? Thanks guys- RC
