P220 rear sight options

I bought a newer Sig P220 45 acp. I'm a revolver guy, but this might be the perfect semi auto. My one and only problem is the sights. The gun was designed to shoot 230 grain FMJ to the center of the dot, and my gun is absolutely dead on. The problem is I shoot all kinds of different ammo, none of which is 230 grain FMJ. Most of what I shoot is 200 grain SWC, which does shoot too low.

I would like a set of target sights, an adjustable plain black rear, and ideally a plain black front as well. I paint my front sights orange. I do not like the dot sights, and do not like fiber optic. So far that only leaves one option, LPA at $120. Surely there are other options out there. I like the look of the factory sights on elite or hunter models, but have not found where I can buy some. I called Sig as well as a number of sight companies.

As bearone2 mentioned, most of the Sig adjustable sights are the "Melted" type in different dovetails, and I believe he is correct, about them being made by L.P.A. which I believe is an Italian company. The only other adjustable rear sight I have seen, was from Meprolight, and had tritium inserts. These are what I believe you are looking for... https://www.fusionfirearms.com/adjustable-sight-set-black-serrated-sig-p220-p225-p226-p228

Here is the same as used on the Hunter, and Super Match, from what I understand... https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/1200056-R

I have been considering a project, due to this... https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/1690150, it appears to be the 5" Super Match Slide... it's a matter of finding everything needed at a "reasonable" price!

In most cases, NO... notice in bearone2's photo, how low the sight sits "in" the slide... that is what I meant by "melted". In the old days of 1911s and "Match" or Target shooting, the adjustable sights were mounted on top of the slide. With the advent of "Action" shooting, and the pistols needing to be drawn from holsters, the sights were lowered or "melted" into the slide.

I ended up calling MMC, as those are the best of the best that I've seen so far. A very rugged yet functional design. Unfortunately he said the company had folded, and is now rebuilding. He did say that in the next few months he will be making sights for Sig. His are priced reasonable too.

Somebody gave me an idea to fill the dots with JB weld. I think for now I will fill the dots on my factory sights, and file down the front until the 200 grain SWC's are hitting where I want. That should do until I can get an MMC.

Thanks for that condescending attitude. Nowhere did I say how much I paid for this gun. Hint: It was less than half of a new hunter model. I guess I shouldn't expect anything else from a guy who thinks $120 is reasonable for a plain set of sights.

My bad for thinking somebody must make target sights for one of the most popular handgun brands out there. Changing sights isn't modifying any more than changing ammo.

Anyway, the rest of you were plenty helpful, thank you.
