I had a p365…got rid of it to get a Ruger lcp II in 22lr…now thats a real lightweight pocket pistol, my other carry is a Sig p229:with 15 rounds..

One other thought......With a 380 Conversion Kit (if/when available); My existing Lower with CT Laser and Alabama Pocket Holster should work fine, and not even require removing the Laser from the lower. That would be.....Nice!

I would consider one, but I already have a P238 that I really enjoy shooting
(especially with the 7 round pinky extension) and I just can't justify having two 380 sub compact's.

I would like to try one when they're available, but it would take a lot to get me to part with my 238.
As I never shot it, I gave my niece (who always coveted it) my g42, as a wedding gift.

I usually carry my Kahr P380 (when carrying.380) as it is lighter, thinner and smaller in every

dimension.

Dimensionally speaking the P365 .380 are relatively similar, with the P238 being a little,

shorter, but thicker.

Their empty weight being reported as nearly identical, at around 15ozs, thanks to P365 slide

lightening and the optic mount.

1" vs 1.1" width isn't a big deal (to me). The P365 has a better beavertail for my grip (I wear L size gloves). I haven't compared the P238's pinky extension magazine but the flush baseplate magazine left the grip too short for my taste. The P365XL (especially with pinky extension magazine) was more to my taste.

My wife is interested in the P365 - 380, but I recommended that she wait to see if the P365 comes out in 30 Super Carry. I'm not convinced 380 is a viable defense round, but the 30 Super Carry probably is.

I too am trying to find a good pistol for my wife. (Emphasis on good, not perfect.)

One thing to consider is that her speed and accuracy might improve with the .380. She might enjoy range time more, leading to overall improvement and confidence. With that compentence, I doubt there are many realistic threats that can't be taken care of with a magazine's worth of .380.

If she’s looking for an softer shooting round than 9mm, .30SC isn’t the answer. From what I’ve read, it shoots like a 9mm.

I will get that gun. It may take a while....but it will happen!
And you can quote me on that.
I will go for a caliber exchange kit when available for one of my P365's if the price isn't crazy high.

Just saw posting on Facebook by Sig.

they said that the P365 Is Now Available in 380

I really did not read the rest of the post, but I'm
sure We will be getting an Email from Them about it.

The line starts to the right for those Who care/want.
