Like the title says, name one or more underrated concealed carry guns...

I find them hard to aim. For some reason pocket autos work better for me. I have carried .38 snubs. .357's, and even had a titanium .41 mag at one point. I agree with you though, they are simple and WORK. That's usually most important to me. I just get caught up in the ballistics.. The only revolver I own anymore is a 9mm.. oh here.. I wasn't paying attention to myself as usual.. Need a jframe 9mm.. Still.. aiming them.. eh... what am I doing wrong. I did pretty decent with an old P229 .357 this morning. Not sure why I suck with revolvers so much. Only revolvers I was ever good at shooting were two single actions.

Carried a revolver years ago . Cant beat them for concealment , but lacking in capacity. For about the last 5 years I’ve carried this aiwb in a vedder holster . I don’t see a reason to ever change it up, Trigger was garbage , so it has a Apex carry trigger since day 1. View attachment 456204 View attachment 456204 View attachment 456205
My very first carry gun circa 2005 was an M&P40c. I sold it after 8 years after I switched to 9mm and bought a M&P9 Subcompact recently (essentially the same gun in 9mm). I still shoot .40 out of my P229 (still being a fan of the round on larger/heaver guns). The M&P is a great gun and very versatile. I have the flush 12-round, pinky extension 12-round, 15-round compact, and 17-round full size magazines for it and they are excellent. It shoots way better than a P365, Hellcat, or Shield Plus in my opinion and it is plenty concealable.

Just picked up a pro series 442, jury’s still out whether it’s worth the extra bucks.
I have a 442 Pro. Never have been able to figure out what exactly they do to it to make it anything more than the regular 442. But some Hogue G10 stocks and a Wilson Combat spring kit certainly helped.

Can't believe no one said Sig P-365!

Good for concealed carry-
Definitely underrated-

Oh!...I get it. You mean- BESIDES the P-365?
The P365 is probably the most popular CCW pistol in the country at the moment. Definitely not underrated. The OP was looking for thoughts on what's out there that people often pass over, but are good concealed carry guns regardless. I would say the SCCY CPX-2 is a pretty good bargain, as long as you got one that works.

Oh I whole-heartedly second that choice. Mine is upgraded with Langdon Tactical components (10 lb. spring [brings it DA down to 6.5 and SA down to 4.5 lbs.], short reset trigger bar, Ameriglo NS, and the G-style low profile decocker). It's extremely flat shooting for a gun smaller than a Glock 19 (lengthwise), accurate, reliable, ergonomic with a wonderful sight picture and DA/SA trigger). It's the best polymer DA/SA compact pistol in my opinion.

J frames are just not popular with the semi auto craze. One semi that is considered underrated IMO are the C-series kahr pistols. I have a cw380,cw9 and a cm9 all are fantastic guns. I have heard guys complain about jams etc, I write that off to inexperienced shooters/operators. Mine function flawlessly, no problem. Hide well and shoot great and for the price point can't beat it. If it gets stolen out of the car or I loose it to the law no worries.
