I am looking at getting an MCX, preferably the Rattler or something on the shorter side (9"?). Cans are illegal in my state and need a stamp for SBR. I don't mind settling for a PCB initially and maybe applying for the SBR later. I am hearing that it is very loud but the 300 Blackout is much better in the shorter barrel. I've heard cycling issues with the subsonic, so am I barking up the wrong tree by looking at this product because of the laws in my state? I want something for home defense and something at the range that won't break my ear drums.
