Looking at a relatively cheap conceal carry pistol that I can have with me outside of home. I don't want to divulge specifics other than that so I apologize for the vagueness in advance.
I'd like to hear some thoughts on purchasing a second M18 or going with something like the 365 X-Macro. I find the M18 trigger to be decent, not a problem. It's not a 1911 and I can live with it. I also find the M18 very intuitive from a grip angle perspective. My M18, as it sits, has a number of aftermarket parts which make it less than ideal to carry. Without those mods, I'm thinking it'd be decent for an outside the home gun and I have a good quantity of magazines, flush and extended. I'm also familiar with it and train with the M18 quite a bit.
The 365 is a good bit smaller but I've not been able to shoot one yet. My local range has one for rent so I plan on heading there tomorrow for a bit of back to back comparison. My hesitation revolves around the trigger as well as adding yet another magazine to the mix. I really like to keep things simple. But I can easily get it in black which I prefer to FDE by a mile and a half. My M18 is black, bought used but in great condition and I likely won't be able to find another one in black easily.
Would like to hear some thoughts from the P320 guys on the above in case I'm just not considering something. I know the P365 is going to be more concealable in a multitude of scenarios though.
