I’m looking for the smallest and lightest possible suppressor for a Sig rattler with a 5.5 inch 300 blackout barrel.
The goal is to build as compact and lightweight of a weapon as possible that can be fired indoors in an emergency without being completely disorienting to the shooter.
I’m not trying to build a whisper quiet range toy that you can shoot without ear protection, this is for a defensive weapon so I’m interested in the superior ballistics of super sonic ammunition and really just looking for something to provide a bit of sound and flash mitigation to tone down the concussion.
honestly, even some thing non-NFA like the Noveske KX3 or witt sme might be suitable.
also, full auto rated and firing schedule is not incredibly important to me. I can take it easy on it at the range, but just need something that can handle one magazine of super sonic in a pinch.
I have a list, but looking for some recommendations to see if there’s anything I missed?
