I've talked with a few different cerakoters. Some say cerakote wears the same as any other barrel coating. Others don't recommend it.
I understand wear will come; it's unavoidable.
I have a slightly-marred barrel now and am looking to not only bring back a nice shine but also a great color: Burnt Bronze.
Anyone out there with experience having their barrel cerakoted?
