I was considering adding a P250, I do not know how I feel about the DAO...

What other Sigs are out there???

I never wanted to own any 9mm, then after joining this site I saw the P210 and needed one worse than I wanted it!
I love my Classic P series, 229, 239, & 226, whenever I shoot them, my first shot is always DA so I didn’t mind the 250 being DAO, it shoots great and is very underrated imo.
If you’re only training with a striker I get the hesitation to change but if you can shoot DA well then you should be even better with the follow SA shots of the DA/SA’s.

I got a sweet deal on an American P210 with the standard walnut grips. Shoots like it should.
About a month later I came across a P49 in amazing condition. So of course I had to have it. Had I known I was going to find the P49 I probably would have passed on the P210A. Now, they hang out in the safe swapping stories while waiting for me to take out to play.

You have to own an Sig Classic they are not all single stack. My favorite is a P229C in .357 Sig if you can find one. Other than that most people will buy a P226 and a P229. IMO DA/SA is the way to go. Just lighten a couple springs and she’ll shoot like butter. As far as single stacks I’d go with the P225A1, P225 and the P239 in that order. Seriously try a classic they are iconic pistols. I don’t think you’ll regret it.

I've had a couple of P250's. One in 45 and the other in 40. Liked them quite well (but I like hammer-fired pistols). Very smooth triggers. Not 'competition polished' smooth but very smooth from the factory. So it would really depend on how much you like a DAO pistol. Only ding I really found was the funky rear sight. You have to partially disassemble the slide to replace it. However, the only real reason to replace it would be to put on a night sight. And since any night sight out there for the P250 would be 'new-old' stock they would already be at least 8 years old and really not worth the bother. If you're not concerned about that then it's a non-issue.

As far as other Sig pistols no longer produced, I really like my P239.
