Thanks to a nice and sharing member @tcbkkb I finally resolved and fulfilled my German OCD with these new Ti-Connection Torx Grip Screws BLK-DLC 😎. Moving forward from the never-aligned slotted ones… 😂

This is how I got it… what a change! 😎

I will post the results when I receive the screws. If they fit without cutting. They will be going on the bottom two 229s. The bottom one is a Matrix frame and heavily upgraded internals and tuning, and is my EDC.The middle one is moderately upgraded and tuned. And my secondary EDC. The top is bone stock, other than tuning and grips. It is my primary range gun,and for travels to 2A unfriendly states.

Look good... but complicate the "tightening" process if they come loose during use. That is one of the best things about well designed military weapons... easy to fix with the least in the most adverse places. The ability to use a cartridge rim to tighten a loose screw is quite convenient!

Great that we have such little niceties to doll up our guns. (y)

Post 41,
Good point regarding cutting. In my readings/research, cutting titanium may be difficult to impossible, at least for me. I don't believe I've got diamond or carbide Dremel-type cutting wheels which could cost as much as the 4-pack of ti grip screws ($21).

I got the screws today. They came in an envelope that explains the $12 shipping. But they are good, no need to shorten them, and are exactly what I was looking for on my 229s :geek:

Thanks again @CMDR.Becker for the heads up on these (y)
I’m glad you’re happy. So, it was true, the screws are 1mm shorter than the standard P226.

I will work on my P229s this weekend 😎

I installed the other set this morning.
They don't protrude at all. So the Sig logo grips must slightly deeper screw holes. Either way both look great 👍

Thanks again @CMDR.Becker and @tcbkkb for the info on this product. I highly recommend these screws to anyone who wants that little extra to highlight their grips. BTW...the finish is a lot more impressive than the pictures show.
