Sigtalk has spent over $1500 for me in the last month. It happens, then I have to back away for a while.

 

Our AR optic experience is with Aimpoints, Burris, S&B and Trijicons. Price point & mission are obviously major considerations. For the $s, I haven't seen a better reflex than Aimpoint's Pro. And, their Micro is a great size on our 10" SBR.

Trijicon's MRO provides a big view, and it's somewhat larger size seems about right for our 16" rifle.

Our mid-60s eyes ain't what they used to be, and some magnification is very helpful at 100+yds, and we like Trijicon's 1-6x24 VCOG, and an out of production 1-8x24 S&B too.

When it comes to warranties, I'm baffled that these higher prices optics can't match Vortex. Voryex's VIP warranty looks to be the best in the business, period! If anything happens to it you return it to them and don't need a receipt, proof of purchase, etc... They replace it period, for life.
In not bashing the others. I do have an ACOG from Trijicon. But at that price I can't put it on everything. So for a red dot I like the Vortex Sparc II.

Sig's new optic line boasts the same warranty as Vortex, which pleases me... my P320 Romeo 1 is completely covered with no reciept or registration online... good work Sig!

 

Depends on your price point. These are the ones I've used.
Low = Vortex SparcII
Med = Aimpoint Pro, Trijicon MRO
High = Aimpoint T1/T2 or H1
