Zaffiri Precision

756 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Amigo
So I bought a p365 completion kit for my new ZAFFIRI PRECISION slide. I was having issue’s depressing the striker safety. I decided to use a punch to get the leverage I needed and jammed the striker safety in the channel. If tried everything short of prying in fear of damaging my $350 slide. Any suggestions on how I can free the striker saftey. It looks like the side opposite the spring is jammed under the slide lip were the striker go’s. Thanks for the advise.

Sorry, no answers..but it looks pretty banged-up already, the only thing I can think of is to go in the back door and try to pry it back up 🤷‍♂️. It shouldn’t be a tight fit for that part in the first place.
I think I’m going to have to find a drill press and mill it out. I tried prying it. It won’t budge.
Maybe the slide manufacturer can help?

I agree that things should have fit without the need for a punch.
I'd reach out to Zaffari before things go from bad to worse.
Ive delt with them and they seem like pretty good people. Definitely contact them.
