Xcompact or compact for vehicle?

Looking at these 2 guns right now for the car while driving so wouldn't have to be tiny or comfortable to conceal.

I've always liked the 3.9" with the carry grip (xcarry) but I'm not spending a bunch of money for an AXG or Spectre to get scratched up in the car so that's why I'm looking at these 2.

Regular compact (~$400) right now would get me the 3.9" but not really sure about the contrast sights and would have to put a flat trigger in. Already have a xcompact grip module and/or would get a xcarry grip module.

Xcompact (~$550) would get me better sights and flat trigger. Then I could sell one of the xcompact grip modules. I just can't put the xcompact slide on a carry grip module.

Any opinions for car duty? It's negligible, but I feel the xcompact is too small for the car if I'm not going to be concealing it on me. On the other hand, I don't want a full size (4.7"). I feel the xcarry was the sweet spot but can't find any cheap enough. I am trying to keep this cheap.

I wouldn't even be asking this if they made the xcarry still.

Thanks

I have a X-Carry slide on a WC Carry II grip for my car gun; I don't care for the SIG X-Carry grip module. I like the 3.9-inch slide with the ability to carry full size magazines (17 round 9mm). I also have another P320 with a 3.9-inch slide on a WC Compact grip in .357 SIG.
There are lots of components, new and used, available for sale; build it however you like. It may take a while to find a particular slide/sight configuration, but it can be done. However, building by components will generally be more expensive than buying a stock Compact and switching grip modules; this I know from experience.

Heck, if it fits in your console it will work.

Get an X-Compact and buy the Wilson grip module that gives you 17 rounds. You can have both styles of gun. I love this configuration because it’s super flexible….

Thanks but looking to get a complete gun...need a FCU. That's the exact slide off a regular nitron that I was talking about. Not sure about the sights...never had them. Always had night sights.

Thanks

Thanks! I forgot about that module. This could solve the dilemma.

Now I just found a M18 for the same price as the xcompact...decisions, decisions.

Xcompact would probably need the Wilson grip for 17rd mags but could sell the xcompact grip.

M18 would definitely need a flat trigger. Can live with the sights but do prefer the green front xray3. A plus is having 3 mags but not a fan of the coyote color. I'd like a xcarry module but not a must.
Ended up ordering the m18. I have a xcompact grip module and it just isn't as comfortable to me as the carry/xcarry.

I imagine I will order a xcompact too one of these days so I can get the Wilson carry ii that Sig Bulldawg pointed out...but for now the m18 is coming because the I just always seem to gravitate to the carry/3.9".
I have mine on a Wilson Combat Carry II for my 17 rd mags (shown in picture) as well as one for my 15 rd mags on a X-Compact RXP P320
