X5 legion with RMR footprint

2848 Views 7 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  Bigjoe7757
Can anyone confirm that my legion is already pre cut for an RMR. It looks like I’m good to go but something is telling me to ask lol.
Any advice would be appreciated.

IIRC that was what mine looked like and the Holosun fit fine.

Awesome. Did you need a plate
You don't "need" a plate, it will screw directly to the slide, however an RMR will not fill the entire void cut in the slide. The Romeo 1 Pro has a longer footprint and fills the cut front to back. CH Precision does make a plate to fill the entire cut out with and RMR mounted.

The threads are not your commonly available 6-32 screws.

Make sure you’re using 6-40 screws so you dont mess up the threads on your slide.

All my legions were cut for sig optics and leopold ddp I have 2 p320 1 p229 and 1 p226
One set of threaded holes is the "early R2" compatible ONLY with Romeo1 Pro/Romeo 2 and DeltaPoint.

Two sets of threaded holdes is the latest/current "R2" compatible with Romeo 1 Pro/Romeo 2, DeltaPoint, and Trijicon RMR/SRO.

You have BOTH sets of threaded holes, so that would be the latest R2 slide. I believe all optic ready P320 slides made after 2020 are milling BOTH sets of mounting holes.

Yes your slide compatible but you need the special screws 6-40 I believe. Also I wouldn’t run an rmr on p320 oem cut without a C&H spacer plate which comes with the screws but need cut down. The plate locks into those slots in the center as well as the front and back of the cut. The recoil force then transfers from the optic to the recoil lugs down through the slide. This takes the force off the mounting screws. As a second feature it fills the gap in front and behind the optic, depending on the plate model, which looks good and aids in transferring the recoil force as well.
