What Was The Last Gun You Bought That Wasn't A SIG?

We live in a great time to be firearm enthusiasts. An amazing number of great guns being made right now by a variety of manufacturers. Lots of options that run the gambit.

Sometimes, I see guns I really like and they....gasp....aren't SIG's. The last 2 guns I have bought were a Kahr PM45 and a H&K P30SK V1. Both are great guns. Strictly for a target gun, I'm also looking at a Walther PPQ M2 and/or a PPS M2. Both have a bit too much of a hair trigger for me to be a carry gun. I'll also eventually buy a H&K P2000SK V2. Except for the PM45, all the above are in 9mm.

What have you bought lately that wasn't a SIG? How it is shooting for you?

Well...followed up my latest non-Sig purchase of a Staccato XL with the purchase of a Staccato XC:

I'm beyond thrilled with the XL. Nicest handgun I've ever owned. But everything I've seen and read says that, as nice as the XL is, the XC is even better. If that is the case - wow! Win, for sure. If it's even close, I'm going to be thrilled with this one.

Did you get your XL with the bull barrel? Because not only it will last you a lifetime but it’s that much more sweeter to shoot. My buddy has a Staccato P with a comp, it turned me on to Staccato but I’m big guy so I love big pistols just like the XL! Hopefully I’ll get one for Christmas the only present I want and can also be my birthday present too! Beautiful gun I hope you enjoy it!

S&W M&P chambered in .380" Revolver. All the numbers match, including the grips. Covered in post war Birmingham proofs, but free of any US import marks. There are no apparent military acceptance marks, but it has a lanyard ring. I am pretty sure predates Lend-Lease. So what is it? British Purchasing Commission gun? As it is chambered for the British service cartridge, what are the odds it saw wartime service? Pre-war commercial sale? Officer's private purchase? No clue how it came to be languishing on the bottom shelf of an LGS in Kentucky.

Glock 19 gen 5. I like it as much as my Sig P226 9mm.
Welp, liked that SOLGW M4 76 13.7 so much, that I grabbed ANOTHER one lol.....now, my daughter & I can have matching rifles.
My little brother & his son have matching rifles so, I did the same. However, mine is slightly different than my daughter's. I'll explain when it shows up.

While I said I didn't want anymore 9's I noticed my 40 XL fit in the IDPA box so I figured this with the smaller magwell and 126mm mags will make a good CO gun.

Rock island 9mm govt 1911. Gutted it, kept the frame for a “cheap” starting place, all internals Wilson combat for the most part.

While out at a LGS today saw that they had some Staccato's back in stock and just couldn't leave this P behind. Hopefully, my 2019 P won't get jealous of her new sister. ;)

I should try one of those, look very nice. Something to go along with all my 2011's.

If you do decide to try the BUL SAS II UL, I don't think you will be dissatisfied. I took my baby BUL out for it's first range visit. Outstanding! Shot 175 rounds of various weights and brands and the baby BUL ate them all without the slightest hint of a problem.
