What is this part in my FCU?

I installed a Wilson Combat module tonight. During my series of testing the slide by removing it and reinstalling it, I couldn’t get the slide to move past this little part in my FCU. It appears to move freely. If I tip the the frame upside down and shake it, it will move upward blocking the slide from moving past it. Once I push it down, the slide will go with no issue. Is this normal? I used a punch to point the part out:

Congrats on your Wilson Combat purchase. Yes it is perfectly normal. I sometimes have the same issue when reinstalling the slide. That part is the safety lever. It works with the safety lock located on the slide assembly.

Thank you! Have you noticed that sometimes the take down lever will turn counter clockwise on its own when the slide is pushed all the way back and you push the slide catch lever up? Mine doesn’t always do this. I never really paid any attention to this until now. I have had this pistol apart so many times before today.

Safety lever. If you shake a 365, that's the rattle. Common question around here that I've seen.

My takedown lever snaps back to it’s locked position when I re-assemble the gun and lock the slide back. I like that feature.
