What is special about a Sig 716 TALO?

Because a good long-range major caliber "scope-able" battle rifle is the gap in my armamentarium, and I panic-bought one last night on GB after the tragic Uvalde massacre.

I don't even know if it's Gen 1 or Gen 2. They are nominally more expensive than a regular Tread 716i. I wonder if I just bought a Cerakote finish and nothing else, or a left-over Gen 1?

I found nada on Internet or YouTube. Should have looked here first.

Thanks in advance --

Can you post a pic?
I think its just the color.
Yeah possibly color and trigger but can we see some pics?
I think it's just the Talo's are Gen 2, the Cerakote looks good on that rifle. If you paid the going rate on Gunbroker, you probably didn't pay much more than a standard 716i.

It appears you bought a very well sorted platform no matter the color or acronym they throw behind it. You just don't hear of function issues with these rifles, very few manufacturers have been able to roll out this type of platform without some teething issues, Sig seems to have worked it all out before turning on the assembly line..... this time. Don't even worry about what you spent on the rifle, you can save that on ammo with one good sale, and your gonna need plenty of that ;)
