This P225 was manufactured to celebrate the 25 year anniversary of the SIG P6 (P225) service pistol in 2004. On the left of the slide is the SIG SAUER logo in gold inlay, as well as "1979 - 2004 25 Jahre Dienstpistole P6" also in gold inlay. Right side of the slide reads "J.P. Sauer & Sohn GmbH", "gegründet 1751" ("founded 1751"), and 005, all in gold inlay.
