The TF and TC serial M17 and M18s use the Coyote Torx pin.do the M17, M18 all use the special Torx T15 extractor tension pin? just curious, seen some pics with, some without. maybe it's the .mil only?

I'm sorry for your loss; I hope his passing was peaceful.I recently inherited a USAF SFA M18 upon the passing of my father-in-law, a career Air / Security Policeman (I too was a career Security Police / Security Forces). I've owned P226s and P228s, but moved to M&Ps years ago. I was able to take the M18 out this weekend and what a joy to shoot! Great ergonomics and compared to the M&P (even with an Apex trigger) feels crisp and smooth. I may be a convert.Also have a DPP arriving this week.
For those keeping track, there were two runs of SFA pistols totaling 85 guns.
