do the M17, M18 all use the special Torx T15 extractor tension pin? just curious, seen some pics with, some without. maybe it's the .mil only?

The TF and TC serial M17 and M18s use the Coyote Torx pin.

Finally got around to removing my safety and changing to a non safety Wilson grip frame . Now it's perfect imo.

I recently inherited a USAF SFA M18 upon the passing of my father-in-law, a career Air / Security Policeman (I too was a career Security Police / Security Forces). I've owned P226s and P228s, but moved to M&Ps years ago. I was able to take the M18 out this weekend and what a joy to shoot! Great ergonomics and compared to the M&P (even with an Apex trigger) feels crisp and smooth. I may be a convert. Also have a DPP arriving this week.

For those keeping track, there were two runs of SFA pistols totaling 85 guns.

I ordered an M17 kit from Euro that arrived today. I also happened to find a new FCU locally for a great price, so I'll be adding an M17 to the recently arrived M18.

I also ordered a green gas M18 for indoor practice. Anyone else using one?

Ordered a M17 kit from Euro and then happened to find a FCU up my way at a killer price.

And approximately 1.5 minutes later, a new M17 is born.

I have to look to see if I have the plates for my RMR so I can move it from the M&P to the M17.
