Hopefully the mods will allow an M17/ M18 thread to be stickied. The military version of these great pistols deserves it's own place. I'll start it off. Sorry for the bad cell phone pics, I can't actually pick mine up until Thursday, because the LGS got it in too late to enter it in the system last night.
So far it seems to be in incredibly good shape. Most of the discoloration I think is oil, I'm interested to see how new it looks with a good cleaning. There is a scuff on the grip module beavertail, and the clerk joked that it was "the one" they used for the drop tests. :lol: The barrel stamping matches the slide, so it's definitely not a parts gun. (Edited: I just discovered the barrel number on mine is the same as on another forum member's pistol. Evidently the MFR# and PN# are the same for all M17's? Can someone confirm this?)

Now that I got the ball rolling, M17/ M18 owners, please post your photos up, even if you already put them in other threads elsewhere. If this gets enough views and posts, maybe we can get it stickied.
