Streamlight TL-6 problems

Hi~!

First post, so forgive me if this is a dead horse.

I have a Streamlight TLR-6 on my P365XL. For the second time I'm sending it back for service because the laser gave up the ghost (light is still working).

Have any of you run into this? It seemed a little odd that as soon as I said I had a problem they sent me a label to send it back. No 'have you tried turning it off and on again?' or diagnosis.
Are they having QC issues with this model?

Hmmmm....
Do you think running hot(ish) ammo would hurt it?

I carry every day in a Crossbreed mini tuck. I do use a smaller leather and elastic holster in my hunting clothing so it gets bumped and bounced around every day.

I don't think so? I don't own that model but I own several other Streamlights and I've never noticed any damage from recoil.

That said, I own the more conventional light units. My personal recommendation would be to switch to the TLR-7 Sub.
