Standard P320 w/ Manual Safety?

861 Views 12 Replies 10 Participants Last post by  saudadeii
Was looking through Sig's website for a plain P320 w/ manual safety, but all I could find was the M17, M18, and some other fancy variant. I just want a plain old P320 with ambi safety, preferably compact.

Does SIG even make one without going the the M17 or 18? Those are okay, but prefer black pistols...

Here is the only other one I have found. It comes with two restricted 10 round magazines, but will work with standard 17 rounders if legal in your area.

Interesting. The pic doesn't show manual safety, but the ad claims it has it. Would prefer to buy local though so just may go with the M18...

Funny, all the ads show the stock 320 pic. The MA compliant one does have the manual safety.

I was looking for the same, and confirmed the Sig part number before I ordered. It did in fact ship with a manual safety and night sights. I decided to hold on to the 10 round restricted mags in the event I need to travel into one of the states that don't allow standard capacity magazines.

Sadly, all the OLD Sig lovers seem to be hanging on the logo and the namesake rather than the current product line. Buy old like it’s gold.

You can buy a M18 in black. SIG W320CA-9-M18-MS-BLK. I bought one from Proven Arms and ended up converting it to a .357 Sig.

My EDC started out as a M18. Only the FCU with MS and the barrel remain. Sold the rest of the M18 parts and broke even, maybe even came out a little ahead. This may be the easiest way to get a MS P320.

I went through this a few times now. The easiest was buying one of the black M18s and changing it as I saw fit - for me, this meant a Wilson grip module, Apex flat trigger and a replacement front sight since the green ring doesn’t work for me.
You're other option is to buy a non-manual safety version, then send the grip module and FCU to AB Prototype to have them do the manual safety cuts for you. That will cost about $100, plus another $55 or so for the manual safety levers, detente, and spring (you can do the installation yourself - its not that hard). This might make sense if you can get something closer to what you want with a non-manual safety version - just a trade off between the cost of converting an M17/18 to what you want vs. the cost of adding the manual safety.

Nice! A MS P320 would be of interest to me.
