Might try an SRT in my LNIB P6. A modern SR kit will fit, correct? I suppose I need a different part set in my P220 (German)?

Yes, you will want the P226, P227 & P229 SRT Parts Kit for your P225. The P220 will take the P220 Short Reset Trigger Parts Kit. These are different SKU's.

The P6 will take the standard "PKIT-SRT-226-227-229", while your P220 would need "220-SRT-PKIT" which includes the Decocking Lever.
