FYI- for SP2022 fans:

The SP2022 is featured in a Guns Magazine
article with a lot of photographs. It's
nice to see "Sig's Best Kept Secret" getting
some positive press.

You can read the article on their website.

Ive only held one of this model. It had the spongiest trigger I have ever felt in a semi-auto handgun. I loved the way the gun felt in my hand though. I almost picked it up for $300 but the trigger is was just sooo bad!

Was it in DA or SA? I like the trigger on my 40 2022. Was thinking of consolidating and going w/ all 9mms so went to shoot the 2022. It reminded me how well I shot with it and that I should keep it. :D

That's sad to hear, especially at that low price. I paid more for mine, but think mine has a pretty good trigger.

My complaint is not with the gun, but I hung a Streamlight TLR 3 on it and I think it sits too far forward. I'm not sure the guys at Streamlight were on the same page as Sig and their rail design.
