Can anyone point me towards a good source for buying extra 7-round magazines for the P938?

About the best price I'm seeing them for is $35 shipped.

Are there aftermarket brands available ?

Any with additional capacity ?

Sorry for the oddball questions. I'm green when it comes to these little P938 guns. I had an "all 9mm" range session Wednesday and I tried out a P938 (rosewood gripped 3" model with 6-round magazine). I shot it as good if not better than my G43 during the session. I can only imagine that will improve if given more time and some additional grip real estate provided by the extended 7-rounders.

FYI I have read absolutely DO NOT!!! use an aftermarket clip in your P938 can damage gun and if I remember correctly voids your warranty

No worries.....I'll not bother with aftermarket clips.

I'll stick with the Sig magazines.:p

Try Academy Sports. Don't remember what I paid for them it was something ago.
I have an Academy Sports nearby. I'll likely grab one from there the next time in there shopping for charcoal and smoking wood.....seems sorta strange to buy grilling supplies from a sports store....but, they have some great peach, pecan and hickory wood splits and huge sacks of lump charcoal for decent prices.

Sig had a deal a week or so ago going on two 7 round mags, plus a desantis pocket holster for 70 or 75, I picked up a deal for both my 938 and 238. I don't know if it's still available.

I'll probably add a couple more to rotate, but I did go ahead and get 2 7-rounders along with a pair of 18-round MecGar mags for my P226's.

Very sweet deal there. It was sold out when I last checked.

I keep buying used guns with lots of magazines. If I could figure out a good way of gluing them together, I could make a coffee table that'd be illegal in CA, or maybe a magazine rack.

If you intend to carry it my advice is stick with the 6 rounders.

#Keepsmallgunssmall

I'll certainly give the 6-round a try.

It is sort of academic at this point....until I get my P938 in my eager paws. I finally made up my mind which one I wanted and ordered it yesterday.

It should make it in to my FFL sometime next week. I've got a long weekend next weekend and hopefully some fun range time getting acclimated to it.

I received and e-mail yesterday from the holster maker I'm using. He was updating the status to "in production". It's an IWB kydex with a couple custom requests that should be here by the time the gun is.

I compared the 7-round magazine with a Springfield 9-round mag from my Range Officer. It'd be sweet if these pseudo 1911's would accept a full sized magazine for back-up reload purposes.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why I'm so pumped up over getting this little Sig. More excited than I was a couple week ago getting my TacOps, lol.

I guess I'm just liking the easy carry aspects of this little performer and the fact that so called "pocket pistols" have been upgraded so much.

My other guns that I used for pocket carry are a Seecamp .32acp and S&W 442. I was blown away at how much more accurate I was with my G43 "pocket gun" than I was with these others. I've shot it quite bit....usually every range session. That is what surprised me with the P938 I demo tested. First time at bat and I'm shooting it as good as the G43. Given more time and some use of both magazines....confidence is high that it'll edge out my G43 results.

Looking forward to this one.

938 magazines

I just left my local Cabelas with 2 Kimber Micro9 magazines at thirty dollars each. These mags are identical to the Sig mags with three differences. First, the mag is notched for an ambidextrous magazine release. Second, the round count view holes are slightly larger. Three, the pinkie base pad is superior and non-curved on the front.

After spending outrageously for 2 "Sig" stamped 'factory originals' any additional mags I get will be Micro9's.

Interesting.

I didn't realize the Kimber mags could be used in the P938.

Can you post a picture of the Kimber 7 rd mag in your P938?
