Very nice collection. I love them all. Guns are like motorcycles; I never met one I did not like.

As for the 1911 still being king, I will grant you it is to be sure an icon and an enduring design. But when we have so many stellar .45's on the market it becomes a trade off. Even my P320 Carry carries more rounds than your typical 1911.

Not meaning to begin a debate ... or maybe I am ...and like the Beretta 92, there is no more recognized handgun in the world.

I got out of the 1911 game last year. Loved them, but just was not using them at all. Still think they are beautiful.
