Today I took the standard Sig night sights off my P226 and installed the X-Ray 3 sights. to me they seem a lot brighter, especially the front sight. I like them a lot better. And they were easy to install.
They are a big improvement over siglites. My one gripe is that they rounded off the edges off the rear rails which makes elevation acquisition a bit slower.
I bough a few sets for some of my Sig's, ended up just using the fronts because the rears seemed smaller than stock ones. In the future I guess I should just see if I can get just the fronts.
I really like them on my Legion... absolutely no desire to change them. I have very similar Trijicon HDs (orange ring) and TFX Pros, as well as, Siglite NS and Mep Tru-Dots on other pistols. I really like that "luminescent" painted ring around the front sight on the X-ray3s, Trijicon HDs and TFX Pros... makes it easy for me to pick up the front sight.
