With these gas prices to make 2 trips that are 2 hours round trip, it might just be cheaper to ship it. I know driving my truck it would be.

Yeah, it’s a drag that they cannot accept drop offs. The best you can do is once in a while they will offer some basic armorer services at the Pro Shop while you wait (scope installs, perhaps sight upgrades, etc.) but they are few and far between.

looks like the best deal is if you have multiple pistols to send in as the shipping charge is for any number).

According to the RMA they sent me with the Fedex label, they don’t charge you until the work is done. So maybe….

It’s on the truck for delivery today. Ck’d my credit card charges. No sale price, too bad, so sad. 😬
Really, not a bad price. Full spring rplcmnt, new sights. The clincher was someone had smeared white grease of some sort all over the moving parts, it had dried out and laying around in the frame.

I took advantage of this. My German framed P229 in .357 Sig is my favorite pistol, just shoots incredibly well, but I keep other weapons around for defense because it doesn't have night sites. It has never had a malfunction in many thousands of rounds, but I still figure new springs could serve it well.

You should be able to purchase it there and then FFL transfer it to your LGS where you fill out the 4473.
