We’ll if you are looking for a complete 516 Proven Arms and Osage County APP program has them for under $1400. I bought one. Nice guns. Except the trigger on mine was rough and heavy. Replaced it with a Geissele.
I just ordered a trigger pull scale. I want to measure my 516 before I do a paracord trigger job on it. I’m not worried enough to spend Giselle kind of money on it!

Mine measured 8 lbs 😳
Yeah, that’s a lot! I did the paracord job on my M400 and my H&K MR556. I didn’t measure them but the difference was noticeable after 50-60 pulls.

I’m not sure what a paracord job is to be honest.
If you Google it there are plenty of videos. Basically; remove the lower, tie paracord around the hammer, cushion the area where it strikes the bolt with some paper, and use the cord to put some upward pressure on the hammer while you pull the trigger. Do that about 50 times and there’s a noticeable lightening in the trigger pull. Easy-peasy!

@DAS Hugh! is the Paracord trigger job man.

@Navy87guy
I was honestly a bit skeptical about it but to hear you and DAS Hugh! both mention it, it must work.
Oh yeah. It works. Trust me. I need to buy a trigger gauge one day and put it to a real test. But yeah I've done it to all mine when I get them. It takes away nearly all the "metal on metal" feel on new guns. It's kind of hard to describe. But as he said 50-60 times and you'll see a world of differences

^ The only thing that is a little bit of a deterrent is, its a rifle, and unless you plan on SBR'n it, you have to put a 16 inch upper on it.
You cant swap the pistol brace onto it, thats a no no if I am correct.
Damn, price went up 50 bucks after refreshing site.
