What exactly do you mean by "won't engage"?

You sure you have a 250 kit, and not a 320 kit?

I bet he has the same problem I had a couple of weeks ago (4/10/2017) on the forum. He needs to push down the silver bar sticking up.

The p250 FCU is not the same as the P320 .There is nothing to push down . the 9mm compact slide assembly works fine on the full size frame. It will lock properly. The slide spring and guide rod on the 40 are hitting on the FCU and won't allow the slide to retract

Will the 40 upper assemble onto the C grip?

Can you push down on the front of the guiderod when the slide won't move any more?

Will the slide go on without the barrel and guiderod?

Can you include some pictures of the parts and where the lockup occurs?
