Sig P226 LDC ll with Extra Upgrades

I just acquired this LDC ll from a long time forum member @JustPlainCliff. Needless to say, this gun was mint when I received it. I couldn’t be happier! And what a great guy to deal with!

These Mastershop pistols are a work of art. LDC’s have always been a want of mine and I’m finally glad to have a German one. The Long Dust cover, steel frame and bull barrel really cap off an already amazing pistol. With all that said, I do like to ad some upgrades to mine.

Every part I install on my guns are typically practical, but also intentional. I found a set of Sig G10 Chain Link X-Grips and a Sig factory Skeleton Hammer last year all in the hopes of finding an LDC ll. Well, they now adorn this gun. Also, I installed a Sig German magwell and followed that up with an Armory Craft Magwell Hammer Seat and Sig Armorer Super Strut.

Other parts I installed from Armory Craft that top this pistol off are as follows: NiB sear. X5 style extended mag release. Stainless Steel guide rod. Sport Take Down Lever. Some +0 and +2 base pads that fit the magwell perfectly. And for me, the cherry on top is the Dual Adjustable Mastershop Style Skeleton Trigger. Altogether, I completed the look I wanted, and in my opinion, gave this pistol a real German Mastershop vibe.

Hope you guys enjoy the pictures!

Great quality and great looking gun. Congrats on a nice pickup.
AC parts look good on it as well. I see that you are also using the brand new Plus-2 base pad for the 18rd MecGar magazine that we just introduced last week.Thank you very much for your support.

They are gorgeous guns, even without all the additions. Nice job and I'm glad it went to a good home.

Very nice,
That's about the only handgun I'm really wanting at the moment.

I hope you find one. They are so hard to find.

I am. Took it to the range today. Such a smooth shooter. The recoil was negligible because of the steel frame and bull barrel.

BTW, I forgot to mention I had some failure to feed issues. It took a few mags for me to realize what was going on. Forgot that with X-Guns that have that raised slide lock/release, you have to make sure you don't ride that or it will definitely cause some timing issues. I was accidently pushing up on it with my thumbs forward grip which would lock the slide back occasionally. LOL! Once I figured that out, it was smooth shooting after that.

That looks amazing! They must be pretty rare, I’ve never seen a master shop pistol in person.

I’m assuming you installed the AC trigger? How do you like it, I love the look.

It is hands down one of my absolute favorite triggers. It even feels great to the touch. No pinching or sharp edges. Didn’t have any sliding around like with a factory trigger. It performs as good as it looks. So much so I’ve put this trigger in 4 of my pistols now.
