Sig Max Michel in .38 Super

I saw a lightly used one at a LGS and was taken aback by the $1500 OTD price. The seller was too busy chatting up a booth babe to be bothered with customers so I walked.

I like the super but is this model in super worth that kind of investment?

.38 super.
In my opinion it not worth anything near that price. Nice gun but over priced.
.38 super.
That’s what I thought. I’m a big fan of the 1911 in 38 super. Carried a Colt Combat Commander in that round for over 20 years. I’m guessing that Max is a fine gun but $1100 would be a fair price. $1200/1275 if in 45.

Thanks all, I have a number of supers already and if that one were fairly priced I'd have bought it.

I never knew SIG sold a Max Michel in 38 super. I have a 1911 Max in 45acp and it was a great shooter.
