Installed an Apex trigger in my M17 and it will actually dryfire at times and is slow to reset. Anyone else have this issue with them?

Sorry but it is unclear what you mean when you say "it will actually dryfire at times and is slow to reset".

Do you mean that on occasion if you cycle the slide and then pull the trigger the gun will not fire?
Double check the trigger return spring. That’s an easy one to bend

It will go off when slide shuts and even went off once by itself after slide shut. Spring is fine factory works perfect. I already sent it back and going to order a Sig flat trigger.

Hey there, just curious, what is your shooting background?

Shot pistols for 40 years, I have worked at three gun shops, own five Sig pistols, member of local gun range and shoot weekly at pistol steel challenge.
