Yes, certain models of other brands offer the feature as well, just was never utilized or heavily marketed like Sig. Beretta sold additional color and size grip modules for the APX. Walther PPS used a chassis but they never offered different frames. Steyr used a chassis on their M series. It's not a new idea, Sig is just the only one doing it right as far as options and offerings.t1tan, you're saying that the serial numbered item (the fire control group) can be removed from a gripframe and placed in another?
