I'm not familiar with the trooper, but do you know if the extended butt pads are the same across all 556's?I am having this same issue with a Sig 556 trooper - the thick butt pad - which is a user serviceable part - is unobtanium.
I think my solution is to trade it in on an AR platform gun and be done with it - I predict getting parts for an AR type firearm will be much simpler in the future...
I have the small butt pad on mine now - which still is ok - so off to the gun shop it will go...

If you have such a thing - i'd love to have it - i can send you a picture of the one that i have that is all deteriorated...IIRC that is the 556 Patrol Swat. ( had one circa 2008-10 prior to moving to CT. ) I do not know if the but pads for the expandable collapsible stock are the same as the german stock in the photo you linked to. I can take a look at my spares and see if i have the thick one you are looking for.
Thanks - yours may be in the same shape as mine when you do find it...I looked in half dozen places i thought it might be, and i can't find it. I never used mine, and know i have it somewhere. For now i will keep it in my mind to see if it crosses my path.
