Hey guys. I am a new sig owner. Very proud and happy with my 552 swat commando.

Anyone know of a speed loader for the 522 mag ? No thumb lever so it's eating my fingers up. First 20 go in easy, the next 5 eat up my fingers and the next one hurts like hell (cause it only holds 25 and I should probably count first, lol..

I haven't tried the crank loader, and it isn't currently in stock, but I do have the thumb loader thing. It does an ok job as an assist, on a 500 round day it's a VERY nice thing to have to avoid cumulative finger thrashing. I have 5 26 round mags, a 10 and a 15. I generally load up all of them, and then shoot through, so when I reload again it's another 150 rounds. The $10 thumb loader is a nice tool for the price.

If your rifle came with a new X-Form Mag, then it is a 25, the older ones that I have are 26 rounders.

If you really need a mag loader, get the one sold by Black Dog, it works well, and although not fancy, it's made and sold by the same folks who make all the mags for our 522's......It's very reasonably priced.......best regards Plum
