Updating information (05/06/2022).
Gun at a local store.
Lower part (polymer grip module) has the number 2700067 + number 1 inside (GEN 1?) ( Update info: The round stamping shows the number 20, arrow points to number 7 = manufactured in july, 2020).
Serial 66B81XXXX (slide + FCU) - ( manufactured date of the gun is AUG 2021)
Slide rev. 0212 06 G21 ( update info: 0212 = new style extractor, 0118 = old style extractor )
No black finish on sear (I think it's stainless steel)

New or used? Put on some pictures if you can. If used, then it is possible someone has built a pistol or mixed and matched parts. Then sold what they didn't want. If new, then pictures would help (either way pictures are helpful).

If new it's the latest version more than likely. The biggest changes were all contained within the slide. Striker redesigns. The changed how you removed the backplate.

If it's used.. the FCU is the only serialized part and you'd have to look at how the backplate pulls off or the striker to know if it's newer or older.

Both of my P365's were built in 2021 and both have all of the latest changes other than the recently released slides with the optics cut moved forward to allow for a rear sight.

Thanks for report.
Can you link the number inside the lower part?

there is a 1 stamped on the FCU.. the only changes that might have been made to the FCU are pins and possibly springs afaik. These are parts that fit rather loosely, using the grip module as a retention device. A new P365 manufactured in pretty much any part of 2021 will have all the latest design choices afaik.

I would be more worried about whether the trigger pull was smooth or not personally. I had to replace a part to get my XL's pull as smooth as my standard model.

There's not a Gen 1, 2, 3, etc.
It's a Sig, not a Glock.

Is it possible an old design gun manufactured in AUG 2021?
All sounds correct for the mfr date. Your pistol is new enough that it should have all the latest upgrades (striker, extractor, etc).

Thanks for reply. I was worried about the polymer piece that hold the FCU, but considering the serial number i think the FCU and the slide is ok.

There is a video that i linked on this thread that shows 3 diferent upgrades considering a number inside the polymer. This gun has the number 2700067 + number 1 inside the polymer piece.

Hola, Welcome from Georgia.
Olá (Hola in portuguese), thank you!
I am from Brazil, sate of Paraná, i hope you guys can understand my english.

UPDATE: I just opened two more sig p365 boxes from april 2021 on a local store here.
Serial number Serial 66B5XXXXX (slide + FCU , both guns) .
Slide rev021202 (both guns)
One gun has the same number 1 on the polymer that holds the FCU, the other gun has the number 2.
I'am almost sure that the number on polymer piece has nothing to do with the other updates on the gun.On this sense i think the guy on the video i posted before is wrong.
The only diference between the guns from april 2021 and the gun from aug-2021 i mentioned before, is that the aug2021 one has no finish on the sear (also diferent slide rev. numbers april = 021202, aug = 0212 06 G21 ), on the other hand, guns from april 2021 have nitron finish on the sear.

I think you would be ok with either one, No GEN differences as others said but they do from time to time upgrade certain parts. Example I have P365 SAS from 2020 not sure to be honest and I'm doing a custom build p365 with striped slide and I'm seeing an extractor upgrade. Buy with confidence it will be ok.

If you look at the video you posted with that timestamp, you'll notice the round stamping. That is a date stamp and will show when that grip module was made.

The round stamping shows the number 20 (than means 2020?). It also has an arrow pointing up on the middle of numbers 2 and 0 . I passed the serial number to sig by phone and they told me that the gun was manufactured in aug-2021. I think the grip module can be manufacturated on a diferent date than FCU and SLIDE.

Yea, the number that the arrow goes through, is the last two digits of the year (so, 2020 in your case). And the arrow points to the month within that year.

And yes, the components will be made 2-3 months before the gun is assembled and moved out.

That is good to know, thank you! The arrow points to number 7 (July).
Do you know if there were FCU updates in 2021? I see some guns (manufactured in april 2021) with a black finish on the sear (nitron?) and other guns ( manufactured in aug 2021) with no finish on the sear (stainless steel sear).
