Purchased from the same guy that I bought my first NIB M11-A1 from. This was also NIB with all the tags, etc. and stored in his safe for the last few years. The part number is 1911CO-45-TSS-RCS, S/N GS278XX and unknown date. Someone cut off the date portion of the sticker on the box. I'm assuming it's probably a 2013 model.

It has the GSR type slide, alloy frame and melt like an SAS. Other than that, I don't know much about it.

Very nice! SIG makes sharp, and reliable compact 1911s.

I want the one with the OD green anodized frame and black Nitron slide. But I cannot justify it. :(

Then again, I had no justification for buying most of the guns I have.

I gave up trying to justify my purchases. If I like it, I usually buy it. :)

SIG 1911's are new to me. They give you a lot of bang for your buck and they are well made. This compact is my 3rd 1911 from SIG so far. I had my eye on a Fastback Carry that the same guy I acquired this one from had, but someone else beat me to it.

Until recently, my 1911's consisted of mainly Colt's, Springfield's, Argentine M1927's and (cough) Kimbers (cough). Dan Wesson is on my list and I wouldn't mind having one from Wilson or Ed Brown one day.
