So I finally broke down and got the BDX COMBO KIT, KILO1000 - SIERRA3 3.5-10X42MM which sounds awesome to a noob like me who will struggle to find places to shoot that are greater than 200 yards, but my brother flipped out at the specs which list a 18mm eye relief.

I'll be mounting it to a Ruger American Predator that has a 20 MOA rail.

Am I'm going to be in a world of hurt chasing around a scope full of black chasing for a tiny pinhole of clear view downrange with this setup? He thinks I am.

My objective for this budget setup is simply to enjoy shooting steel at 200 yards and getting nice groups on targets at 200 yards.

My only other mods to meet this objective are a TBD muzzle brake and a CVLIFE 6-9 Inches Tactical Rifle Bipod. I think I'm set, he wonders if I may end up with a cheapo scope that I'm replacing a month from now.
