Please allow me a gentle correction, sir. The correct word is envious. It refers to non human things. This is just my being as an educator. And in 1986 I purchased my blued 4 inch 586 for just less than $400. 8^PVery nice. I'm a little jealous.
Often SS is brushed and not finished to the high polish of nickel.I’ve got the SS version in 686 and like it. The SS is nice but not as shiny as the nickel. Nice piece.

Nickel shows every fingerprint/touch point, dirt speck, oil drop, but I'd still like one.Often SS is brushed and not finished to the high polish of nickel.![]()
Thanks for the “gentle” positive reinforcement, or, (correction). I do understand and appreciate it! I too purchased an early blued 586. In 1984 for $240.70. A six inch barreled version. A very fine wheel gun, which I still possess. To me they are an example of a manufacturer’s commitment to fit and finish that is seldom seen in the market today. Please allow me a gentle correction, sir. The correct word is envious.
