Romeo Zero longevity

I’ve been reading about the RZ here. I have one installed on my 365xl. Honestly, I like it. I am aware of its shortcomings, ie. battery placement, possible scratches on lenses, etc…. I am curious what the overall consensus is about how long they will last with normal practice and EDC. I do clean and inspect my weapon system often and I don’t abuse it either. I do plan to upgrade sometime to a Holosun but I’m in no rush.

I can't speak to the Romeo Zero since I've never owned one but I do have several Holosuns and they are good to go. If I were you I'd just save the money for the Romeo Zero and just save up for the Holosun you really want. You won't get much at all for the Romeo Zero should you choose to sell it once you get the Holosun. You even said you're in no rush so I'd just wait.
