Hi guys! I recently purchased a Romeo 7 for my SIG516 Gen2. I haven't had the chance to actually zero it yet, but I noticed not too long after mounting it that there is some very slight back and forth play between the QD mount and the 1913 rail. Like 1/2 millimeter at most.

There's no horizontal or vertical canting at all. Aside from the very slight back and forth movement (I'm assuming between pic rail segments) it's really solid. Any input on this would be really appreciated. Is there a way to adjust the QD mount tension or something? My initial thought is that there should be absolutely no movement at all, but maybe strictly back and forth movement that small won't affect groupings too much. I plan to zero at 50 yards.

Thanks!

It will absolutely affect your shots at 50 yards. There should be no movement in the mount to rail. Mount needs to be tightened up
