Replacing the sights in a C3

OK got the C3 back, but the smith did not replace the sights like I wanted. the more i look at it it looks pretty straightforward.
has anyone replaced them themselves? are there issues with the front/rear sight heights? If you did replace, what did you replace them with?
I definitely want sights I can see in a dark room
