Recommend a low profile case for a MCX Virtus

I am trying to avoid anything that screams "steal me" or " gun inside" the Virtus is compact, but not enough to fit a sling pack. I am not carrying it every day, though I do wish I had it during the lockdown ( I drive through 20 minutes of high threat to get to work) I like to go unnoticed when I am going to the range or wherever.

What length Virtus do you have? I have the 9” and 14.5” unsuppressed and use “Hazard 4” sling packs
I have the 11.5, it measures 23 inches with the brace folded. Hazard 4 is pretty nice, but it looks like everything is a bit small
I have the 11.5
Look at the Hazard 4 sling backpacks. They are made really nice. I’ll try to find you a link.

This one is 18.5”

The other one I have is called the Takedown which is like 20 something inches long. It holds my 14.5”

Just looked at these, the takedown may work
Thank you

Tennis racquet bag.
Not a bad idea, I fit a PS90 in a tennis racquet bag for a while.
Thank you
Tennis racquet bag.
Was thinking full sized violin case.

A proven solution from the '20s, and the OP is looking at something a little shorter than a Thompson with the stock removed :)

FWIW, I'm using DBTAC Urban Classic from Amazon as a range bag for the shorter stuff. Might be a little big for what you want and I wouldn't call it "low profile" in that it's pretty easy to recognize what it is, but besides what is pictured, the front pocket easily holds 2 full sized pistols, and the main pocket are big enough for the 10/22 and PC Takedowns in their backpacker stocks.

Not gonna miss this opportunity to call out SIG "The Complete Systems Provider".

MCX Rattler Upper Conversion Kit 300 BLK was my first Sig product. Went on an Anderson lower because that's what I had. Sig sold me on their modularity. Come to find out, Sig doesn't even sell lowers (pretty important module). Their adapter kit comes with serious caveats (doesn't fit collapsing devices). Sig doesn't even sell a case for the MCX line. *** - this is FAR from being "The Complete Systems Provider".

If I could do 1-stop shopping - login at Sig and know I'm buying the best, custom made accessories for my Rattler, I would. Y'all need to do better than this.

Start by selling the lowers. Then make cases again - your discontinued laptop case was brilliant!

[edit] Thinking of giving this case a try.

stop crying. no one cares. they sell a complete weapons system. gun, optic, suppressor, ammo. they don't sell plate carriers, coms, armor, or night vision either. imagine complaining to Ferrari that they wont build you a garage, but the one at the dealership was so nice. You're obviously old enough to buy a gun, act like an adult for once in your life.

Thieves steal instruments all the time.

get a small gym bag, artfully drape nasty socks and underwear hanging out of it. you could leave your car unlocked and no one will touch it.
